HK Performancehorses

HK Performancehorses, led by Henry Kühnel, is a Quarter Horse breeding and training operation based at Gut Reinhardshof in Weimarschmieden, near Fladungen, in the border region of Bavaria, Thuringia, and Hesse. The farm covers 25 hectares of pasture and is equipped for horse care, training, and riding, with a 21-by-60-metre indoor arena, an outdoor riding arena, a horse walker, and stalls both with and without paddocks. Facilities also include a hot-water wash area with a solarium and an Admiral Slider Drag System.

The business offers young-horse rearing and starting, competition presentation, sales and brokerage, and coaching for non-professional riders, as well as lessons and clinics. Henry Kühnel also works as an NRHA USA judge. He has ridden since the early 1990s, began in all-around disciplines before focusing on reining, and holds a qualification in horse breeding and management. With more than 15 years of professional experience in equestrian sport and breeding, Kühnel brings practical expertise to the operation’s breeding and training services.
