HK Solartec GmbH develops rooftop solar projects and offers building owners services for making productive use of their roof space. The company works with industrial, commercial and agricultural properties, seeking roofs of at least 450 square metres for photovoltaic installations. Owners can lease their roof under a long-term contract, with HK Solartec providing technical support and regular maintenance throughout the lease. Where a roof needs renovation, the company can coordinate the work before installing solar panels, including the proper disposal of asbestos when required. It says these arrangements may allow owners to avoid renovation costs, while already renovated roofs may qualify for an advance one-time lease payment.

HK Solartec also offers direct investment in photovoltaic projects, including projects already in operation. Its services cover site analysis, planning, contracts, permitting and technical implementation, bringing the process together under one provider. The company reports experience with more than 650 completed rooftop installations, including projects in Loxstedt-Büttel, Groß Wüstenfelde, Ascheberg and Bad Oldesloe.
