About Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation
The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation (HKBCF) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005 with a mission to mitigate the threat of breast cancer in the local community. They offer a range of services including education, patient support, research, and advocacy. The foundation believes in the power of "Early Detection Saves Lives," emphasizing the importance of spreading breast health information and providing regular breast screening to increase chances of early detection and successful treatment.
Breast cancer has been the most common cancer affecting women in Hong Kong for two decades, and the HKBCF aims to bridge the service gap and expand access to their current scope of services. They have established the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation Jockey Club Breast Health Centre (Kowloon) to bring professional and accessible breast health services to a wider group of people.
With a dedication to breast health education and patient support, the HKBCF strives to mitigate the threat of breast cancer in the local community, contributing to a better, healthier Hong Kong.
