Hong Kong Olympiad in Informatics (HKOI) is a prestigious annual software programming competition for secondary students. We aim to foster computational thinking and promote STEM education through our challenging and engaging contests. Our competition is designed to test students' problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and programming abilities.

In addition to the competition, HKOI also provides comprehensive ICT teaching and learning resources to support educators and students in their journey towards digital literacy. Our goal is to nurture the next generation of talented programmers and equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the ever-evolving world of technology.

HKOI has a rich history of excellence and has achieved remarkable results in various external competitions, including IOI, NOI, and APIO. Our training team has consistently brought home medals, showcasing the outstanding talent and dedication of our participants.

We are now accepting applications for HKOI 2023/24. The Heat Event will take place on 11th November, 2023, followed by the Final Event on 16th December, 2023.
