The Croatian Kennel Club (Hrvatski Kinološki Savez, or HKS) is the principal authority for canine affairs in Croatia, established in 1891 to promote the systematic care and breeding of dogs. Comprising 135 member organizations, including various breed clubs and kennels across the country, HKS aims to foster a rich canine culture and ensure responsible pet ownership. HKS organizes numerous events, including dog shows, breeding assessments, hunting trials, and competitive sports such as agility, lure coursing, and field trials.

They also provide certifications and training for judges and handlers, reinforcing standards set by FCI (Fédération Cynologique Internationale).
