HKSSG, the Hong Kong Street Skating Group, is an independent recreational group focused on street skating, hockey and hiking. It states that it is separate from commercial organisations and associations, and was established solely for recreational purposes. The group’s activities reflect a love of skating at a range of settings and speeds, including streets and roads, as well as pavements and cycle paths described as suitable for people of different ages.

Hockey is another key part of its programme, with Rainbow Road Hockey Rink identified as a home venue. HKSSG also highlights leagues and tournaments, reflecting its ongoing enthusiasm for the sport. Its website provides information about the group’s background and significant events, alongside a memorial section, opinion articles, activity highlights, photos and videos.

Together, these resources offer visitors an overview of the group’s history and shared experiences. HKSSG presents itself as a community organised around recreation and a continuing interest in skating, hockey and outdoor activity
