About HKUYL
The Hong Kong Union for Young Leaders (HKUYL) is a leading student leadership organization in Hong Kong. Established in 1992, the non-profit organization is run by secondary school students with the aim of seeking out, recognizing, and nurturing the leadership abilities of young individuals. Through various activities such as seminars, social service projects, training camps, and exposure to recognized leaders in society, HKUYL equips students with leadership skills and fosters their open-minded thinking towards global and local issues.
With over 30 member schools, the Union has developed into a vibrant community of young leaders brimming with potential. Their mission is to inspire tomorrow's leaders today by propagating Union traditions, restoring order amongst chaos, and driving forward in their endeavors. The Union believes that leaders are not born, but inspired, and takes pride in unleashing the untapped potential of individuals, passing on the flame of inspiration, and sparking change in society
