HMotion is a helicopter training company formed as a joint venture between Airbus Helicopters and ADAC HEMS Academy. It brings together Airbus’s helicopter design data and technical knowledge with the operational experience of ADAC Luftrettung, a world-renowned helicopter operator. HMotion provides flight simulator training for the light twin-engine Airbus Helicopters EC135, H135 and H145. Its courses also support a wide range of helicopter personnel, with training focused on missions and critical flight situations.
The company’s goal is to deliver high-quality training that helps maintain fleet availability and improve safety in flight operations. Training takes place on state-of-the-art, fully certified simulators and is supervised by experienced instructors, allowing crews to practise challenging scenarios in a controlled environment. HMotion initially integrated full-flight simulators at Airbus Helicopters in Donauwörth and at the ADAC HEMS Academy in Bonn-Hangelar. In 2025, it opened a new training center in Oberpfaffenhofen, near Munich, to bring its resources together. Through its simulator facilities and specialized courses, HMotion serves helicopter operators and professionals seeking practical, safety-focused training.
