Hockey Night in Richmond (HNIR) is a recreational hockey league serving players and teams in the Richmond area. The league organizes seasonal competition, manages team registration and rosters, and provides schedules, statistics, standings, and playoff information through its online league tools. Its 2026 summer season features double-elimination playoffs, while the announced Winter 2026/27 season runs from October through May and includes a 22-game schedule followed by playoffs.

Players can register through either a 12-month membership or a season-based option. Eligible membership holders may register directly with a team and receive a registration-fee discount. Team captains can manage roster details, including player positions and numbers, and add team logos and chats through SportNinja. HNIR also shares rules, tie-breaking procedures, registration guidance, and league updates to help participants understand how the competition works. Players looking for a team are directed to the league’s Facebook page. The organization provides contacts for hockey and financial support inquiries, along with policies covering eligibility, rosters, and disciplinary matters.
