Helse Nord

Helse Nord-Trøndelag is a public health organisation serving patients and communities through its hospitals in Levanger and Namsos. Its website helps patients, families and visitors find information about care, hospital departments and practical arrangements. The organisation offers a broad range of treatments and examinations, along with rehabilitation and habilitation, patient and family education, and support for children who are relatives of patients.

Patients can access digital services through HelsaMi, including an overview of health information, communication with healthcare professionals and consultations made available to them. Electronic questionnaires are also used for assessment, treatment and patient dialogue; they are not intended for urgent medical help. Helse Nord-Trøndelag provides information about patient rights, medical records, patient travel, privacy and security.

Its work also encompasses research, education and professional development, laboratory services, and collaboration with general practitioners and other healthcare partners. The organisation shares job opportunities and guidance for visitors, and provides contact details for its hospitals, central offices and secure digital correspondence
