About Hoa Motuhake
Hoa Motuhake Sports Trust is dedicated to making sport accessible to underprivileged children in Canterbury. Our sports mentoring program caters to tamariki aged 8-12 who are at risk, living in high-deprivation circumstances, or in care. We believe in breaking the cycle of trauma and adversity by offering these children a brighter future through active participation in sports.
By intervening early, we aim to create healthier communities and foster positive behavioral patterns. Our goal is to provide opportunities for all children to engage in sports, regardless of their circumstances.
