Hoaxy a Podvody is a brand dedicated to fighting against hoaxes, explaining misinformation, exposing information operations, and warning about online scams in Slovakia. The brand's new project builds upon the successful police social media presence on Facebook and Instagram. Despite political interference, the brand continues its mission with a new project founded by David Púchovský.
Slovakia faces high vulnerability to misinformation, with health hoaxes endangering lives and manipulative campaigns targeting minorities. The brand aims to educate about hoaxes, analyze disinformation campaigns, run preventative and educational campaigns, and alert about scams. Led by former policeman David Púchovský, the project values expert opinions, respects diverse views, and promotes activism against hoaxes while remaining apolitical.
