The Hobe Sound Nature Center is a brand that aims to educate, inspire, and train nature lovers and the next generation of naturalists. Our mission is to establish meaningful connections between humans and nature, fostering a deep appreciation for the unique habitats and wildlife found in South Florida. Through our museum, visitors can explore interactive STEAM activities, hands-on exploration stations, and observe injured and non-releasable resident wildlife.

We also offer school programs that cover a range of topics, including Florida's threatened habitats and species, with our resident animals serving as ambassadors for their wild counterparts. In addition, we organize a variety of special events throughout the year, such as guided tours of local terrestrial and coastal habitats, engaging lecture series, Junior Anglers Fishing Clinic, Creepy Creatures Halloween program, Earth Day Celebration, and seasonal turtle walks.
