“Хочу жить” (“I Want to Live”) is an official Ukrainian program operating under the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, in cooperation with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence and Defence Intelligence. It supports military personnel who wish to voluntarily stop participating in hostilities and surrender, providing information and ways to contact its team. The project offers round-the-clock communication through Telegram and WhatsApp, a Telegram chatbot, and informational channels on Telegram and YouTube.

Relatives searching for missing military personnel are directed to “Хочу найти” (“I Want to Find”), a related search center where they can submit a request for information about a person’s fate.
