The French Ice Hockey Federation (FFHG) is the national governing body for ice hockey in France. Its work spans the development and organisation of the sport, from grassroots participation and club support to elite competition and national teams. The federation oversees French teams across men’s, women’s, youth and para-hockey categories, sharing schedules, results, selections, team information and news about their international campaigns.

For players, clubs, coaches and officials, the FFHG provides practical resources and services, including club-finding tools, licensing information, training programmes, e-learning and guidance on facilities, safety and development. It also supports schools and introductory activities, promotes women’s hockey and para-hockey, and offers resources for organising events and recruiting participants. The federation administers competitions, including the Synerglace Ligue Magnus, and provides information about match tickets, events and hockey equipment through its online shop.

Its website also publishes regulations, official decisions, medical and anti-doping guidance, educational materials and updates on federation life.
