De Hoekse Renners

De Hoekse Renners, also known as DHR, is an enthusiastic cycling club based in the Hoeksche Waard in the Netherlands. With a history celebrated through its 75th anniversary, the club brings together road racers, young riders and recreational touring cyclists. Its racing section supports members who want to perform at a competitive level, while the youth programme helps new cyclists become familiar with their bikes and develop handling skills with guidance from a personal trainer. Prospective youth members can try three training sessions before deciding whether to join.

Touring cyclists are welcome to join group rides, with two groups offering different options, from a livelier pace to a more relaxed outing. The club also shares ride schedules, news and information about events, including the Koppeltijdrit Hoeksche Waard, a paired time trial. Members and visitors can find details about club clothing, membership, sponsors and club organisation through its website. Based at the IJsclubgebouw in Puttershoek, De Hoekse Renners offers cycling activities for a range of ages, interests and experience levels.
