Hörbert

Their main product, the hörbert music box, is made from high-quality materials and designed to be long-lasting. Unlike typical MP3 players that end up in the landfill when broken, the hörbert can be easily repaired thanks to its replaceable parts. Recently, hörbert had the pleasure of collaborating with Bierstadt repariert, an inspiring initiative in Wiesbaden that repairs household appliances and other daily use devices on a donation basis.

The hörbert team provided technical advice and spare parts to support this noble cause, helping them repair a hörbert model from 2011 and bring joy to their satisfied customers. During an interview with Gerhard Meudt, the founder of Bierstadt repariert, he shared the origins of the organization and the challenges they face. He also highlighted the importance of combating the throwaway culture that dominates our society.

At hörbert, they share the same values and have been promoting sustainable practices for over 12 years. If you have a broken hörbert or any other electronic device and don't have access to a repair workshop nearby, hörbert also offers repair services. Simply reach out to them through their contact form.
