Hof Regis

Demeter Hof Regis is a family-run biodynamic farm in Dietmannsried, in Germany’s northern Allgäu region, at about 700 metres above sea level. Beate and Manfred Reisacher operate a grassland farm under Demeter standards, with around 25 dairy cows and 60 laying hens, alongside other animals. Their approach emphasizes animal welfare, regional sourcing and sustainable land management. Cows graze outdoors and eat only grass and hay; calves stay with their mothers for at least three months before being raised regionally in pasture-based systems. The farm participates in the Kuh plus Kalb initiative and the KuhproKlima research project, which explores climate-friendly grassland management.

The farm offers Demeter hay milk and eggs, as well as organic beef and beef sausages. Its hens are raised on the farm, and poultry is also available as soup hens or roasting chickens. Regis additionally operates a community bakehouse and breeds Airedale Terriers. By marketing products directly and through a network of Demeter hay-milk farmers, the farm connects customers with locally produced food and nature-conscious farming.
