Hof Rehgarten

Hof Rehgarten is a family-run agricultural and forestry business in Geroldsau, near Baden-Baden, set amid the meadows and woodlands of the Black Forest. Founded in 2010, the farm combines horse boarding, landscape management and carriage rides. Its stable accommodates 16 horses in spacious, well-lit boxes, each with direct access to a private outdoor paddock. Horses also have access to monitored pastures with shade, water and a rotational grazing system designed to support pasture recovery.

The family also manages Scottish Highland cattle with a partner. Around 120 animals graze year-round on more than 180 hectares of grassland, helping maintain the local cultural landscape. Their diet consists of pasture grass and hay harvested by the farm. Forestry work and the care of woodland-edge pastures are also part of Hof Rehgarten’s activities.

Visitors can book guided carriage outings through the valleys, meadows and forests around Geroldsau. Rides are led by trained, licensed drivers and use the farm’s Black Forest horses.
