Hof-Rocholl

Arche-Hof Rocholl is a family-run organic farm in Solingen, Germany, dedicated to sustainable agriculture, animal welfare and preserving rare livestock breeds. Certified by Biokreis, the farm follows responsible practices and grows much of its animals’ feed on its own fields, supporting a regional, sustainable cycle. As a certified Arche farm, it works to protect endangered traditional breeds for future generations.

The farm welcomes children, families, school classes, kindergartens and other groups to experience rural life up close. Its offerings include year-round farm courses, day activities, holiday programmes, group visits and children’s birthday celebrations. The pony school provides playful, guided sessions for children from age two, introducing them to caring for and interacting with ponies. The farm also offers pony courses and opportunities to learn about animals and nature through hands-on activities.

Rocholl participates in markets, fairs and breeding events to share its commitment to ecological farming. A self-service farm shop with its own sustainable and organic products is planned; occasional meat from sheep, pigs and chickens is currently available.
