Hoffman Ag Service is a family-owned farming venture that has grown into a full-service agricultural retailer. Originally started by Dale Hoffman and his sons, Vaughn and Larry, the business began by selling fertilizer and seed out of the shop to support local farmers. Over the years, Hoffman Ag Service expanded its offerings, adding trucking services for grain transportation and a grain elevator in Marengo township.
The addition of the grain elevator allowed farmers to conveniently pick up their fertilizer and market their grain in one location. Hoffman Ag Service also ventured into selling Purina Feeds and chemical products. In 2008, they further expanded their operations with a new warehouse, loading dock, bulk seed treatment system, and office for their DuPont Pioneer® seed business.
Continuing their growth, Hoffman Ag Service added two 140,000 bushel bins and a new soybean intake system in 2011. Throughout the years, they have built a reputation for exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with their customers. Hoffman Ag Service is committed to providing outstanding service to farmers and is dedicated to their success in the agricultural industry
