Family Reil is a family-run riding business in Oberlethe, near Wardenburg, Germany, welcoming children and adults who want to learn to ride. The family shares its daily work with ponies, horses, and young riders, and invites prospective riders and their families to get in touch by phone. Updates and dates are posted in the “Hofgeflüster” section of the website.
Since October 2014, the Reils have been renovating and improving their farm and developing its riding operation. Their facilities include renewed riding areas with irrigation and lighting, fenced pastures equipped with self-watering systems, and a 20-by-60-metre ebb-and-flow arena built in October 2022 to better manage rainy conditions. The family places particular importance on the horses’ wellbeing, believing that happy, balanced horses can support riders and help them enjoy equestrian sport. With information about the team, ponies, services, and farm life, Family Reil offers an inviting setting for people interested in beginning their riding journey.
