Hogar de Cristo FG is a federation that brings together neighborhood centers with the aim of providing comprehensive solutions to situations of social vulnerability and problematic substance use. Our priority is always the individual and their qualities. Our objective is to systematize, investigate, transmit, and ensure the methodology, principles, criteria, and strategies that unite us.

With our perspective, we seek to contribute to the development of communities committed to social suffering. We work towards a culture of encounter and community participation, promoting Christian values, providing training and raising awareness through our Training School, and conducting extension and research activities. We understand that we are facing extremely complex situations, where substance use is not just a problem but rather affects individuals.

That is why we believe that the Neighborhood Centers of the Hogar de Cristo embrace life in its entirety and complexity, accepting individuals as they are. We recognize that true and comprehensive recovery cannot be achieved if people are alone, living on the streets, or lack proper identification to access social benefits
