Hogrefe Eickeloh

Hof Hogrefe is a family-run farm in Eickeloh, north of Hanover, bringing together organic agriculture, regional food, horse breeding and training, and rural accommodation. The family has cultivated the land for generations, producing blueberries, cherries, fresh asparagus, farm honey, and other foods through its own organic farming. These products, alongside regional specialties, are prepared and served at the farm’s Mehlkammer restaurant.

Horse breeding is another central part of the business. Hof Hogrefe breeds Hanoverian premium mares, with foals raised in mixed-age herds across spacious land and in modern open stables. The farm also provides horse training and care for clients’ horses, including boarding, breaking and rehabilitation services. Carolin Hogrefe, a veterinarian and horse trainer, supports this work and leads a seminar center that offers education for horse owners and enthusiasts.

For visitors seeking a countryside stay, the family offers thoughtfully furnished holiday apartments. With its combination of farming, hospitality, equestrian services, and a commitment to nature and sustainability, Hof Hogrefe invites guests to experience rural life.
