Hokej podwodny

Bałtyckie Foki, or the Baltic Seals, is an underwater hockey club based in Poland’s Tricity area. Its members come from varied age groups and professions, united by a passion for the sport: a fast-paced team game played underwater, where players hold their breath and use sticks to move a puck along the pool floor. The club trains at the MOSiR swimming pool in Gdańsk’s Chełm district and welcomes interest in this unusual discipline.

The club’s mission is to promote physical activity among children, young people and adults, using sport as a means of development and education. Its activities include regular training, team participation in Polish and international competitions, and involvement in tournaments hosted by clubs and sports organisations. Bałtyckie Foki has competed at events across Poland and elsewhere in Europe, and has fielded teams in both men’s and women’s competitions in collaboration with other clubs. It also shares information about underwater hockey, tournament events and club life, helping introduce more people to the sport and support its growth in Poland.
