Holstebro Jagtforening

Holstebro Jagtforening is a hunting association in Holstebro, Denmark, with more than 300 members. Located at Ringkøbingvej 3C in the military training area, the association welcomes people of all ages and experience levels in a friendly, informal setting. It aims to grow and develop, with particular support for new hunters, including the opportunity to receive mentoring during hunts offered by the association.

Members and visitors can use the association’s clay pigeon shooting facilities. Those preparing for the shotgun shooting test can train with qualified instructors, and beginners can try clay pigeon shooting with free guidance. The association also arranges activities and experiences such as talks, courses, red deer safaris and visits to a deer shooting range. It is developing plans for a first-aid day for dogs and hunters.

Holstebro Jagtforening offers a welcoming place to practise, learn and take part in shared activities. People interested in joining can apply through the Danish Hunters’ Association website or contact the treasurer by email. Non-members are also welcome at some events.
