Holston Electric Cooperative (HEC) is a member-owned distributor of Tennessee Valley Authority power, providing safe and dependable electric service to our member-owners at a reasonable cost. With a rich history dating back to 1940, we serve the rural upper East Tennessee region, specifically Hawkins and Hamblen counties. At HEC, our value is service.

Holston Electric Cooperative operates a distribution system of more than 2,600 miles with 12 substations in operation. Our headquarters building is located in Rogersville, and we have branch offices in Church Hill and Russellville.
