What started as a small and entrepreneurial bread-making company in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, has become the backbone of our economy, with over 800 dedicated and passionate employees. In 1998, Holsum became a purely Puerto Rican company when it was acquired by our president, Mr.

Ramón Calderón. We take pride in our social commitment and demonstrated this after Hurricane María by preparing sandwiches and visiting severely affected communities. In less than two months, our ambassadors of hope distributed blessings to over 21,000 people, ensuring that no household went without bread.
