Holz-Liebe

Holz Liebe is a small workshop near Leipzig specializing in carefully handcrafted wooden toys and miniatures. For more than 38 years, the makers have produced detailed dollhouse furniture, accessories and miniature workshops, mainly in 1:12 scale, alongside traditional wooden toys for children aged three and older. The range includes miniature tradespeople’s workshops, shop fittings and market stalls, as well as furnishings and accessories for rooms throughout a dollhouse. Customers can also find craft materials, wooden items, selected offers and products in a 1:43 scale, with special commissions listed among the services.

Each piece is made by hand with close attention to accurate dimensions and smooth finishing. The workshop works with hardwoods such as maple, ash, cherry, beech and black walnut; its timber is air-dried for around four to six years before use. The makers also turn wooden spinning tops from fine woods, emphasizing the grain and natural color with a clear oil finish.
