Die Geschichte der Holzbau Hofer GmbH beginnt im Jahr 1984 in Nußdorf-Debant in Osttirol. Die kleine, inhabergeführte, traditionelle Zimmerei entwickelte sich zu einem national und europaweit tätigen Holzbauunternehmen. Neben Fleiß und Gewissenhaftigkeit waren handwerkliches Know-how, Leidenschaft und permanenter Innovationsgeist die Garanten für den Erfolg unseres Unternehmens. Im August 2022 erfolgte die Übernahme unseres Unternehmens durch die HASSLACHER Gruppe. Heute beschäftigt Holzbau HOFER ca. 50 Mitarbeiter:innen. Wir zeichnen uns nicht nur durch kompetente Handwerker und Meister aus. Wir sind auch stolz auf unsere hauseigene Planungsabteilung. Hier realisieren unsere Holzbauingenieure und Statiker praktisch jede Idee und planen Kundenwünsche passgenau durch. Vom individuellen Gartenzaun bis zum mehrstöckigen Hotel aus massivem Holz ist bei uns alles möglich. Im Oktober 2023 durften wir für die Realisierung des Drauforums Oberdrauburg einen der beiden Hauptpreise bei der Vergabe des Holzbaupreises Kärnten 2023 entgegennehmen. Bei diesem Wettbewerb erhielten wir auch jeweils eine Auszeichnung für die Ausführung der Holzbauarbeiten beim Gemeinschafthaus Hühnersberg und der Einsatzzentrale Mallnitz. Holzbau HOFER steht für die Kunst des lebendigen Holzbaus.
