The Homberger Tennis Club (HTC) is a community-focused tennis club in Homberg (Ohm), Germany, with roots dating to 1975, when 65 people joined the town’s new tennis section. It became an independent association in 1990 and is based at a tennis facility by the Ohm River. The club offers opportunities to play tennis through its teams, which range from women’s squads to men’s 70s, and takes part in league competitions.
Its history includes notable team achievements, including promotion of the men’s 70s to the Hessenliga in 2024. The HTC also organizes the Homberg Open, social doubles and mixed events, and activities such as cycling tours, hikes, holiday programs, and open days. Youth training has been part of the club’s work since its early years, and attracting younger players remains a priority.
With around 90 members, the club brings together sport, volunteering, and social connection. Its website provides information about teams, membership registration, fees, news, sponsors, and ways to get in touch
