Home Comfort Ear Care

Home Comfort Ear Care provides professional earwax removal services for adults in Bungay and the surrounding areas of Suffolk and Norfolk. The service is led by a fully qualified and experienced ear care practitioner who states that appropriate training, insurance and safeguarding checks are in place. Clients can choose appointments at a weekly clinic at St Mary’s Practice in Bungay, held on Wednesdays, or arrange a mobile home visit. Home visits are available in Bungay, Beccles, Loddon, Harleston and across the surrounding Waveney Valley, including for people who are housebound or have difficulty reaching a clinic.

Treatments include microsuction, ear irrigation (also known as ear syringing) and manual or other instrumental wax removal. The service is designed to offer a gentle, patient-focused option for people experiencing blocked or muffled hearing, ear fullness, tinnitus, discomfort, dizziness or balance issues. Appointments are available without a GP referral. Home Comfort Ear Care advises clients with sudden hearing loss, severe or worsening pain, ear discharge or bleeding, suspected infection, or a possible perforated eardrum to contact their GP or NHS 111 before booking.
