Home FurEver

Home FurEver is a non-profit, no-kill, foster-based canine rescue that is committed to giving every dog a chance to find its forever home. Established in 2003, Home FurEver has rescued, rehabilitated, and re-homed over 7,000 dogs and puppies, regardless of breed or background. Many of these dogs come from the tough streets of Detroit, where they were left abandoned or living in poor conditions.

Home FurEver's dedicated team of veterinarians and volunteers work tirelessly to provide these dogs with the medical care and support they need to start a new life with a loving family. As one of the largest foster-based rescues in the metro Detroit area, Home FurEver relies on generous donations and fundraising efforts to provide food and veterinary care for up to 200 dogs in foster care at any given time. They also welcome in dogs from kill shelters, other rescues, and owner surrenders.

In addition to their rescue efforts, Home FurEver offers temporary foster homes for animals until a suitable forever home can be found. They also provide animal care instruction to educate both children and adults about the proper treatment of animals. If you're looking to make a difference in a dog's life and provide a forever home, Home FurEver is the place to go.
