HomeGrid Monitor is an Android-based energy monitoring and control solution for household solar and battery systems. Designed around local-first operation, it brings inverter data, solar generation, battery status and home energy flows together in a mobile app and browser-based web panel. Users can view live readings, review historical charts, track compatible batteries down to individual cells, and check solar-generation and weather forecasts to help plan energy use.

The platform also supports automation scenarios based on battery charge, solar production and household load, including schedules that account for night-time electricity tariffs. Telegram notifications can report system events such as network interruptions, errors, temperatures and automation results. HomeGrid Monitor works without a Raspberry Pi or a permanent cloud service; an Android device on the same network as the inverter provides local control, while protected tunnels can enable remote access.

The service supports a range of inverters and BMS products through local, network and Bluetooth connections, with compatibility continuing to expand.
