HOME? is an innovative heritage project that ran from September 2022 to February 2024, aimed at documenting and sharing the positive contributions of the migrant community in the UK. By empowering volunteers from partner organizations through Community Reporting methodology and Online Archive Research training, the project equipped individuals with the necessary skills to gather and present newspaper stories that highlight the experiences of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.

During Refugee Week in June 2023, the project culminated in a series of knowledge exchange events across five areas, providing a platform for sharing findings and oral histories with the community. These events were critical in raising awareness about the challenges faced by migrants and refugees. The project collaborated with key organizations such as Refugee Women Connect and Leeds Asylum Seekers Support Network, each dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations through various services, including outreach and practical assistance. HOME? not only fosters community engagement but also serves as an essential resource for advocacy and education on important social issues.
