Homeland Montespluga Madesimo is an outdoor project focused on helping people discover ski mountaineering and splitboarding in the alpine landscape around Montespluga, a hamlet of Madesimo in Italy’s Sondrio province. Developed by ASSO Orobica ASD and Spiagames Outdoor Agency, it brings together mountain exploration, sport, learning and respect for nature, with an emphasis on enjoying the mountains safely. The area is free from ski lifts and framed by peaks rising above 3,000 metres, offering a distinctive setting for touring and freeriding.
Homeland offers guided excursions and experiences for different ability levels, from first-time ski touring outings to advanced routes, as well as splitboard instruction, training courses and safety-focused sessions. Visitors can also book snowshoe hikes and multi-day adventures, including an overnight tent camp. The website provides activity calendars, equipment rental information, GPS maps and tracks, and a live webcam showing conditions in Montespluga. Homeland also organizes the Skialp Fest, featuring ski-touring excursions, freeride, Bike & Ski, product testing, talks and other events.
