HoneyGramz is a brand based in Great Neck, NY, with a mission to save the bees and promote the importance of pollination. Ruth Harrigan, a NYC beekeeper for over 10 years, founded the brand. She believes that without bees, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the abundance of fruits and vegetables in nature.
Ruth's passion for bees started when her daughter asked for a dog but ended up with 3 chickens instead. While researching how to raise chickens, she stumbled upon a petition to legalize beekeeping in NYC, which sparked her interest. Ruth took a beekeeping course and launched HoneyGramz after receiving a gift from two yoga students.
HoneyGramz offers over 150 different messages on honey-filled baby bear bottles, making them the perfect Sweet Edible Greeting! Additionally, Ruth developed a beauty line called Mee Beauty, made with pollinator-friendly ingredients and honey. HoneyGramz also donates a percentage of sales to help save the bees. Ruth's commitment to permaculture extends to her garden, where she practices organic gardening techniques and benefits from fresh eggs and honey from her own pets.
