About Honse
Honse Farm is a community-run network and plugin for Final Fantasy XIV players who want to sync character customizations with friends and communities. Built on the Mare Synchronos foundation, it was created to offer a resilient alternative to a single centralized service. Instead, independent servers work together, so players can choose where their data is stored without limiting whom they can pair with across the network.
Users install the plugin, select a homeserver, and explicitly connect with friends or join Sync Shells, shared groups for people who agree to sync. The redesigned client offers a unified settings screen, improved usability, and options to dock or minimize the interface. Honse Farm also provides documentation, forums, Discord support, and an open-source codebase available for browsing, contribution, and review.
The network welcomes people who want to host their own servers for a Free Company, friend group, or venue. Setup tools and an admin panel are designed to make hosting accessible.
