Hoodoo Lodge is a remote Alaska fishing lodge on the Alaska Peninsula, set within the Alaska Peninsula National Wildlife Refuge near the Bering Sea. With locations on the Hoodoo and Sandy rivers, the lodge offers access to secluded waters surrounded by glaciers, volcanoes, valleys, and wildlife. Its setting provides guests with a wilderness experience and access to lightly fished salmon runs.
The lodge specializes in guided fly-fishing packages, each offering seven nights and six full days of fishing. Seasonal trips target Chinook (king), sockeye, chum, pink, and coho (silver) salmon, as well as steelhead, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden. Guests can fish from the riverbanks or use jet boats on the Sandy River; selected packages also offer optional fly-out excursions to nearby wilderness rivers. Packages are generally priced for a two-client-to-one-guide ratio, with private rooms available for an additional fee when space permits. Hoodoo Lodge welcomes anglers seeking both experienced guidance and access to remote Alaskan fisheries, with trips scheduled from June through October.
