Hoopstars Family

Hoopstars Family is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sports-based youth development and education organization based in Olympia, Washington. It supports promising young women in becoming successful students, athletes, and community members, with a focus on preparing them for life both during and after their basketball careers.

The program is built around five pillars: family, education, basketball, leadership, and fun. Academic support includes tutoring, grade checks, test preparation, school-choice guidance, and help with college applications. Players receive individual and team basketball skill development from collegiate-level coaches and compete in regional and national NCAA-sanctioned events, gaining exposure to college coaches and potential programs.

Hoopstars Family also fosters leadership through team responsibilities, decision-making, community clinics, and practical communication activities. Its network of parents, coaches, mentors, partners, and contributors offers guidance, recruiting advice, scholarships, and reduced program fees. Beyond practices and competition, the organization encourages travel, educational outings, and lasting friendships. Its goal is to provide a complete basketball and life experience, helping student-athletes grow on and off the court.
