About HOP
HOP Church, formally known as GBI House of Prayer, is a vibrant Christian community located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Established in 1998 by Ps. David Tedjasasmita and a group of 25 young families, the church began its mission with a heartfelt desire to respond to God's calling. Over the years, it has flourished, relocating to a new facility in 2010 where it was renamed House of Prayer, signifying its commitment to nurturing a generation devoted to God.
HOP Church offers a diverse range of services to engage and support its congregation. Weekly worship gatherings are held in two locations—Jembatan Dua and Jembatan Lima—providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to connect in faith. The church also runs specialized programs for various age groups, including a vibrant children's ministry and NextGen services for young adults. Daily devotionals, such as "Daily Hope," further enrich the spiritual journey of its members. HOP Church is dedicated to building families and impacting the nation with love and faith.
