With a mission to eliminate orphanages and prevent the breakdown of families due to poverty, they are committed to providing a solution for each child living in extreme poverty. Firstly, they strive to prevent the separation of children from their parents by improving the financial stability and medical safety of marginalized families. They also work towards closing orphanages, a process that takes 2-4 years and involves the construction of family homes. Additionally, they provide support to young adults who leave orphanages at 18 years old, promoting their independence and confidence through socio-professional integration actions.

Hope and Homes for Children Romania has achieved impressive results so far, with 66 orphanages closed, 123 family homes constructed, and 7,037 children removed from orphanages. In 2023, they aim to help at least 650 children and young people, as well as close three more placement centers.
