Hope for Education Ghana (HFEG) is a nonprofit organization established in 2015 to help talented children from underprivileged backgrounds access education. Formerly known as the MeReJeD Foundation, it adopted the HFEG name in 2016. Its work focuses on students in Ghana’s Brong Ahafo Region, where limited access to further education can make it difficult for young people to pursue their ambitions.
HFEG provides educational scholarships and other learning support, including computers, laptops, notebooks, and related resources. The organization also highlights scholarship recipients and their achievements, sharing stories that show how educational assistance can help students progress. Students can apply for scholarships during the stated application period, while donors may sponsor a student or contribute through other forms of support.
HFEG works alongside the Learn Ghana Foundation and invites families, students, and supporters to learn about its programs, impact, leadership, and finances. It is a U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and reports receiving the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar.
