Hope For Hearts

Hope for Hearts is a New Zealand-based initiative focused on raising awareness of aortic stenosis and helping medical professionals recognise and diagnose the condition. Its educational resources explain symptoms, diagnosis, disease management and treatment options, with information intended to support informed discussions between patients and healthcare professionals. The site highlights the potential impact of aortic stenosis on daily life and the importance of identifying warning signs and symptoms.

Through its Cardiac Resource Centre, Hope for Hearts provides practical information on cardiac disease management, including guidance on aortic valve replacement and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Visitors can search for cardiac specialists, hospitals, health centres and practices, and the organisation offers a referral connection platform for specialists seeking to make their services easier for GPs and patients to find.

Hope for Hearts also shares expert perspectives from its medical advisory team and provides professional education through clinical masterclasses, meeting presentations and event notifications. Healthcare professionals can register for newsletters and educational updates.
