About The Hope Foundation
The Hope Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to helping street and slum children in Kolkata, India. Our mission is to free these vulnerable children and poor families from lives of pain, abuse, and poverty. Living on the streets exposes these children to physical and sexual abuse, forcing them into child labor at a young age. HOPE operates 57 projects focusing on protection, healthcare, education, vocational training, and emergency response.
Through our programs, we aim to provide sustainable pathways out of poverty by delivering essential services like education, healthcare, nutrition, and skills building. HOPE has made a significant impact, reaching over 3 million individuals residing in Kolkata’s slums and streets.
