Hope Ignites Pittsburgh

Hope Ignites Pittsburgh is a youth-serving organization that supports motivated young people facing barriers to education and career opportunities. Its mission is to nurture and guide students in need so they can become well-educated, career-ready adults who contribute to others and their communities. The organization works to close achievement and workforce-development gaps by connecting participants with support across a long-term journey from middle school through college graduation and into career launch.

Hope Ignites offers a scholarship program and guidance designed to help young people build the education, skills, and confidence needed to thrive. Its approach emphasizes sustained encouragement, personal development, and preparation for school, work, and adult life. The organization also shares alumni stories that reflect graduates’ experiences and achievements, including college completion and professional growth.

Community members can support its work by volunteering, giving, referring a child, or attending fundraising events such as Evening of Hope and the East End Golf Outing.
