Johns Hopkins Rheumatology is a renowned brand dedicated to the research, diagnosis, and treatment of Lyme disease. Established under the leadership of Dr. John Aucott in 2015, the center offers comprehensive care to patients at two locations: Johns Hopkins at Green Spring Station and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Division of Rheumatology.
With over 1000 patients treated to date, our clinical research team specializes in both acute and chronic manifestations of Lyme disease. We provide expert care to patients with active skin lesions of acute Lyme disease, as well as those with late or chronic manifestations on a consultative basis. Our mission is to address and understand the diverse manifestations of Lyme disease and translate our multidisciplinary research into improved patient care, education, and health outcomes.
At Johns Hopkins Rheumatology, we are actively engaged in research programs focused on advancing the understanding of biologic disease mechanisms and improving the accuracy of diagnostic tests for all presentations of Lyme disease.
