Hord Family Farms

Welcome to Hord Family Farms! With over 100 years of family farming heritage, we are now in our 5th generation of farming. Located in North-central Ohio, Hord Livestock and Family Farms is a pig, cow, and grain farm. Our dedicated team and growing partners strive to raise our animals with care, using modern and advanced farming practices to ensure efficiency and sustainability.

For our pigs, we raise them from birth to market, providing them with a hormone-free, predominately plant-based diet. From birthing barns to nurseries and growing barns, we ensure that our pigs are well-nourished and comfortable until they reach market weight. In addition to raising animals, we also grow corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, and barley to feed them.

We partner with neighboring farms to fulfill our grain needs, promoting collaboration in our farming community. Our cattle are raised on fresh bedding in open-air barns and are fed a diet of grasses, hays, grains, and minerals. To further emphasize sustainability, our cattle location is powered by solar power! At Hord Family Farms, our goal is to be agricultural stewards with Christian values ingrained in our business.

We strive to feed families through sustainable food production, and we achieve this through trust, innovation, care, empowerment, and courage. Join us in our commitment to producing quality grain and protein products that you can confidently feed your family. Explore career opportunities at Hord Family Farms today!
