Horizon Hub is a child-centred specialist service based in Harrogate and Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, supporting children and young adults with additional needs. Established in 2017 by behaviour consultant Kerry Shaw, the company takes a holistic, individually tailored approach to learning and emotional regulation. Its work supports children with needs including autism, ADHD, PDA, communication and learning difficulties, anxiety, OCD and sensory processing differences; a formal diagnosis is not required.
Horizon Hub provides one-to-one support in its studio, at home, in schools and in the community, helping children apply developing skills across settings. Programmes include early learning preparation for preschoolers, intensive short packages and regular weekly sessions for a range of ages. The team also conducts observations, prepares reports and recommendations, creates support plans, offers parent and family training, and provides specialist teaching assistant support and SENCo services in private education.
Based across Yorkshire, including Leeds, Bradford and York, Horizon Hub works alongside families, schools and other professionals to coordinate support around each child’s needs.
