Horizon Karawang is part of Horizon Education, an educational network that offers affordable, high-quality education that aligns with industry needs. As a center for healthcare education, Horizon Karawang provides practical skills training for students to work in local and global healthcare institutions. Students can choose to study Nursing or Midwifery, both of which are taught with a focus on meeting National Higher Education Standards and producing graduates who excel in their field with expertise in Health and Safety at Work (K3) and emergency care, as well as meeting industry standards.

Another advantage is providing training in hospitals or healthcare services, such as preventing and controlling Nosocomial Infections and patient safety/Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs), Disaster Management training, as well as knowledge of HIV status and counseling for those at risk of HIV. Through Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) training, Horizon Karawang provides students with the vital skills needed to work in hospitals and other healthcare institutions in emergency and K3 management, enabling graduates to work locally and globally due to their hands-on practical experience. The campus is owned by Triputra Persada Horizon Education Foundation, supported by two leading Indonesian companies: Triputra Group and Persada Capital Investama.

They are also partners with PHINMA Education, one of the largest educational networks in the Philippines. This partnership is key to providing students with high-quality education and industry experience at an affordable cost. In 2019, Triputra Persada Horizon Education Foundation acquired STIKES (Health Sciences College) and STMIK (Information and Computer Sciences College) Kharisma in Karawang, West Java.

Both have been renamed STIKES Horizon Karawang and STMIK Horizon Karawang. With a mission to provide affordable quality education, Triputra Persada Horizon Education Foundation plans to expand its reach to other regions in Indonesia. As an innovative campus, Horizon Karawang collaborates with PHINMA Education from the Philippines to provide access to quality education that will help strengthen Indonesia.

STIKES Horizon Karawang, as a healthcare education center, prepares and educates professional healthcare workers who excel in emergency care and K3 management. It offers midwifery and nursing education designed to prepare graduates to compete as local and international healthcare workers. STMIK Horizon Karawang offers high-quality informatics and information systems education to prepare students for work locally and internationally.
